I'm so frustrated

I am so upset. I called standard bank 9th January 2014 to change my home loan debit date to the 28th as of January 2014. The consultant confirmed it was done and my next debit will be 28 January 2014. I called the next day just to confirm my debit date and again I was assured that the date was changed. The reason I changed my date from 26 to 28 is because I started a new job and my salary date changed. To my surprise my account was debited today 27 January.. Luckily I had money for the debit to go through successfully. All I want is for my debit date to be changed to the 28th.
