I am not a customer of Standard Bank but for some reason I am being called daily by them looking for another person. I receive SMS etc. telling me that after numerous attempts they cannot get hold of "me". The more I tell them they have the wrong person the more they phone me. I have logged 2 complaints with their internal complaints department but nothing happens. I've asked the call centre agents to remove me from the list upon which they will just put the phone down.
Maybe it's time to try the new Harassment act against them.
