Unacceptable service from division

On the 2nd of May I reported on my Std Bank cheque card with the Std Bank division. They gave me a ref no and told me that they would contact me in 3 days to open an investigation. After receiving NO phone call after 3 days, I contacted them. I completed an affidavit and sent if back to them the same day. Only 2 days later did I receive an automated response telling me that the investigation will take 10 days! (by now already 5 days after the was reported). To date (27th of May), I have received no phone calls, no updates and most importantly, NONE of my money back.

After numerous attempts to get an update from the div by phone, I've come up empty handed, as I am kept on hold for longer than 20min with NO-ONE answering the phone.

Staff at the Gardens branch have also sent emails to their internal complaints department after not getting a hold of anyone when they phone on my behalf and are kept on hold for longer than 30min at a time (with me watching). I phoned the std bank complaints dept. and was told that I can only complain about an outcome, not the pathetic service!

I don't see the point in trusting Standard Bank with my money in the future!
