I don't bank with ABSA and what happened on Wednesday reaffirmed why I will never bank with them! I went to ABSA Southgate Mall on Wednesday afternoon to go pay my account and to my shock they had ONLY ONE TELLER! We started complaining and the response we got was that there's no staff!
The poor teller who was made to work alone was also doing her best to be extra friendly so she can calm people down. When we asked her where the other tellers were her response was that people were sick with flu?
Really now?
So ABSA doesn't have temps to replace sick people?
So ABSA would rather compromise on service delivery? Or is this generally the norm at Southgate Mall? Bad service! My question is would you ever have one teller at Sandton? Or Northgate? Or Centurion? I doubt it!
There branch manager was also nowhere to be found to hear our complaints!
