Yesterday, I contacted standard bank home loans department to query about the life assurance policy on our bond. I was told that only my husband is covered and not me. I told the lady to please work out a premium for me, which she did. I then told her that I want to add that to the current policy that my husband is covered with. She told not a problem and somebody from sales will contact me shortly. Its 24 hours and I never received a call from anybody. Its frustrating when you putting your life in order and request for help but nobody bothers.
