Standard bank insurance claim pain

I had an unfortunate incident where a fire broke out at my home. On the 6th on Jan the fire broke out and destroyed an area of my home. On the 7th on Jan i logged a claim at 1st the team that dealt with the claim sent out an assessor Yusaf, he was polite and very efficient explaining who will come next in terms of contractors to quote. All the contractors that came where very efficient and explained that they would summit their quotes asap but it was up to the bank to continue the process from there. Its been two full weeks from the fire and nobody had contacted me. Their call centre is swamped i dare their managed to show the hold time of their ivr to the clients. I sit for up to 30 mins waiting for a consultant last week i finally go to some one who said they will pass the message on to the person dealing with the claim no call back. I tried their online facility no way to communicate can only see your claim open. I'm currently holding for the second time now spent a full hour trying to get through. My last call was answered the lady introduced her self and before i could clear my throat to speak up she cut the call. santam resolved my house contents claim in 7 working days!
