NO HELP AND DID NOT INSURE OUR HOUSE WHEN REGISTER

On 14 January 2014 our geyser started leaking.

On 15 January 2014 I phoned FNB to find out what the procedure is for our insurance. FNB advised that they never send threw our documents to Outsurance to insure our house and will take 48hours to activate. When you buy a house it is the bank policy that there must be building insurance and now we found out that our house was never insured.

Yesterday at 14:00 the Manager Bella Butlo phoned and advised that outsurance advised that my husband cancelled the insurance which is impossible. I phone Outsurance and they confirmed that there was never a building insurance uploaded on their system on our home loan account and my husband could not have cancelled the building insurance.

The house registered on 5 November 2012. I spend the whole day yesterday on the phone with FNB and have not received any response yet.

We still have not receive and explanation of what happened and when outsurance will come out to fix the geyser. FNB also advised that if we get someone to fix the geyser the insurance will not pay for it.

It is really frustrating not to get any response!!! When you phone they just log a querie and do not get back to you!!!
