It has been 5 months since I had an incident with my car insured with this company and no resolution to the matter on the table. Escalated the matter through the ranks of the company and still no resolution. It is becoming a concern to me as I have been loyal and had all my assets insured with them since 2007.
There seems to be a down turn on services generally as when I came back from holidays my electric gate could not open by the remote. They sent on 2 occasions electricians who did not have a clue on gate motor, where 1 of them suggested a lightening strike damaging both the motor and the control board (replacement required). When I called my own service provider, he diagnosed the issue and replaced batteries and the issue was resolved.
The services have taken a down turn and I'm now concerned about the sustainability of the company to their long loyal clients. Insurances premiums paid monthly without fail and no services provided at the time of need. This broker is staining Santam as an under writer and it is concerning.
