I am flabbergasted by African Bank, They have embarrassed me beyond words can explain, They have completely breached their confidentiality clause, It is disgusting and I will report this to the NCR, The banking ombudsman and any other financial regulating authority that I can think off.
I got an sms advising to reply with a YES if I needed financial assistance from African Bank with the Loans I have with them, I responded with the YES, They then responded with an SMS advising me to contact a debt management company called Debtbusters for assistance and they gave me Debtbusters details, I deleted the sms because I know of the company and I did not need their assistance.
I have now received numerous calls from this company, they know my name and surname, my contact details and the status of the accounts I have with African Bank. I have never, I mean NEVER agreed to African Bank giving my personal information to a third party. I in fact have friends who work for this company who now know my financial confidential situation. I repeat I never gave African Bank consent to give my personal information to any third party.
I will consult Lawyers for advice but African Bank will pay!
