I needed to stop a debit order that went our on my mums account and called FNB who told me that in order to get the funds reveresed, I need to go to a branch. I took my mum to the FNB Carlswald branch on Friday to get her funds reversed. They gave us a form to fill and said it will take 24 hours to reflect in the account.
I waited and called them yesterday, they said it will take 2-3 working days now!! I checked yesterday and today, the funds are not there?? Why does it take so long to get HER OWN money back?? She is a pensioner and not working, she relies on SASA to provide her with income. She now has things to do and medication to get but can't do anything until she GETS HER MONEY BACK!!
Can someone please help as this is not right, other banks reverse funds IMMEDIATELY!!
