Unfair listing on credit beaura

I am trying to purchase a vehicle but my application for vehicle finance has been unsuccessful as I have a default listing against my name on my credit report from ITC.

I opened a bank account with FNB at the beginning of the year and decided that I won't need it any more. I then asked one of the consultants in the FNB next to STEERS Greenacres - The Bridge if there was a need for me to go inside the branch to close the account, I was told that there is no need, as the account will close automatically if I do not use it. The account continued to accrue the monthly service fee for a few months. Some time in August I got a letter from FNB telling me that if I do not pay, it will affect my credit record. I went to pay the amount (R 482) some time in October.

I believe that it is unfair for this listing to take place, as I got the wrong information from an FNB consultant.
If I knew I had to pay the amount, I would have as it was a very small amount.

I appeal for FNB to remove this listing against my name.
