On the 14th I hit a pothole and 2 of my tyres burst. I phoned miway and they sent out a tow truck to take my car to Danmar Westrand. The next day I phoned miway again to find out what I needed to do from my side to assist them in assisting me, I was told that the only thing I had to do was to report it at the police station and to have the case number handy when miway phoned me on Tuesday (the Monday was a public holiday) after they assessed my car, which I duly did.
After receiving no communication on said Tuesday, I tried contacting miway through both their website contact page and their "call me back" service on their phone line, they ignored me on both counts.
On the Thursday, I again called them and waited patiently until someone from their side picked up, only to find out that no claim had been submitted against my policy! The call centre agent helped me create a claim, but again since then, i have recieved no communication from miway and it is impossible to get hold of them (they have singlehandedly exhausted my R315 top-up phone contract)
