What a disgrace!! I have an agreement with Nedbank to deduct the loan installment on a agreed specified date. Unfortunately Nedbank does not always stick to this arrangement as they deducted money again as soon as deposits are being made into my account.
I somehow get the feeling that they are like "money vultures" just waiting for some funds to be desposited into my bank account so that they can grab hold of the opportunity.
An amount was deposited into my account on Teusday this week and guess what??? nedbank took the opportunity to "take" the funds out of my account. I have been in contact with them and they refuse to refund the
money. Their excuse?? Everybody gets paid earlier in December hence the reason for the deduction.
The deposit that was made into my account was not my salary but rather funds that i was supposed to utilise for personal reasons but now thanks to Nedbank I forfeited the money.
Why does the customer ALWAYS have to suffer at the expnse of such large companies??
Hopefully the act of "Treating the Customer Fairly", which comes into effect 01 January 2014, will assist the ordinary customer!!
