On the 29th Nov I went to an ATM and tried to withdraw money. My slip said that the transaction was not successful, however the sms I received said that R850 was withdrawn. I immediately called the call centre (0860555111) and I was advised that it would take approximately 6 working days to investigate and refunded. I've been calling quite a few times (every time a call is between 6 - 15 minutes).
The first 2 times my query was apparently escalated, however, the consultant then told me at the 3rd escalation, that the previous 2 consultants never escalated the query, it was just send back to Saswitch again. Today (3 weeks after the initial query) I was told that it would take 6 more working days.
Even with the backlog I was informed about wednesday, it still gave Saswitch 14 working days to resolve the query. I have even provided an alternative number as I didn't get any feedback. Because of this, I have to call in every time to find out the status and this is costing me quite a bit on airtime.
At least one would expect some progress but every single time it is 6 working days. So when exactly are those 6 days starting as this has been dragging for 3 weeks now?
