Absa keeps wasting my time to try and correct their mistakes. After the bad service I received telephonically, where my call gets dropped after 17 minutes or I need to phone another number, I decided to go in. At the information desk it is confirmed that there are fees deducted without valid reason such as Internet Banking fees (which are suppose to be part of my package I already pay for) and overdraft ledger fees. I have to wait for over an hour to see a consultant to fix a mistake on Absa's side? I don't think so. So after an hour of waiting without any feedback and the Manager just standing around chatting to the cashiers, I decided to leave. Are you going to sort this out or just continue with this bad service?? I had a similar experience with ABSA when I opened my cheque account and I was given the incorrect account number on paper by a consultant. This is why I want to switch to another bank. No personal service whatsoever, and every time you go in it's to correct ABSA's mistakes. How you are still functioning with this kind of service is beyond me!
