I live in Mozambique. I need to transfer money between two of my Nedbank accounts. Cannot increase the transfer limit (between my own accounts) over the internet, need to visit a Nedbank Branch. Mozambique is not just a short drive away from a Nedbank Branch! I phoned the Hartbeespoort branch where my account is kept. Was put through to a manager who, after some persuasion, said I can send an email and they will see what they can do. No response to the email. Then tried to do a transfer via internet within my transfer limit - also did not work - Message: Account valid status invalid. I shudder to think what it must be like for overseas clients - must they fly back to SA to do transactions?
