FNB plays dirty ebucks trick

I changed from Standard Bank to FNB 3 months ago, partly because I wanted to make use of ebucks. Due to errors made by FNB, my new bank cards were blocked and I had to phone the call centre to have them reactivated. After reactivating my cards the consultant went through a list of questions regarding communications from the bank, e.g. Would you like to receive promotional material from FNB? I answered no to all but one of these questions. However, I recently found out through the ebucks website that I wasn't earning any ebucks on my cheque account because I had answered no to these questions. At no point during the questionnaire was it made clear to me that my answers would affect my ebucks earning status. I think this was dishonest of FNB. I have lost three months' ebucks because of their dirty little trick. FNB should be upfront about this and announce it at the beginning of the questionnaire. How many people have been tricked out of earning ebucks by this? Come on, FNB, do the right thing!
