Pension uphold due to back log because of retrenchments. I have resigned from Anglo Platinum Mine Union section. My last day was the 31 October. I have been told that my pension wil be paid in between 6 - 8 week. We are already in the 8th week and now I have been told that it will only be payed out between the 27 Dec to 15 Jan 2014 (maybe). Old mutual cannot give me a date. I have two small children and rent with water and electrisity to be payed at the end of the month. I have relied on the promise of 6-8 week and budget accordinly. I am very upset. I want to start my own business and cannot do so because of the uphold by Old Mutual!
