Response (Fire Claim) took a month, offer changed

I Kayalethu Herbert Nqenani, submitted a claim for damages by fire on my house on the 14/10/13. I had to beg the insurers for updates on progress. I had to personally look for an alternative accommodation by myself. After finding one they only paid for one month's rent.
About the 16/11/13 they informed me that they had only one qoutation, and therefore gave an offer (money) to take of the reconstruction of the house. It took me a week to check with reputable construction companies if the offer could cover the costs, and I got that assurance. I duly signed the offer as a way of acceptance and waited for the money to be deposited so that I can start reconstruction.
A week after signing and submitting the offer the insurers, who had a month to process my claim, who are no novices in this business, come back to say they made a mistake, they are cutting the Offer by -R150, 000.00.
There is no direct contact with me, there is no urgency on their part to settle my claim, they are so inhumane they do not even consider the fact that I am going to spend Christmas in a small flat that they are not even hepling me to rent anymore.
My complaint is with Legalwise, nothing positive, please help.
