I am employed as a marketer at a small business. The company supplied me with a laptop on condition that I have to insure this item whilst in my custody. On the 16th of Nov 2013 the laptop was damaged and I submitted a claim to my Insurance Co. They promptly settled me for this item so I could reimburse my employer. This morning ABSA transferred R2500 to another account without my consent. The R4500 that was paid by the insurance company was for reimbursing my employer for their property that was damaged in my custody, not for ABSA to transfer around as they see fit. This money does not belong to me or to ABSA for that matter. My employer will be making a case of / against ABSA.
