Take responsibility

I am sick and tired of running around with something that can be done within a second. I visited FNB numerously inneed of closing my cheque account. They told me it will be closed when it is on zero balance but to my surprize that never happened. I haven't used my account in 3 months, firstly i requested it to be downgraded since i felt platinium charge are hectic for my lifestyle, that was never done also. I then because of irritation asked them to close it. signed forms but it was never done and i have noticed monthly charges that i am incurring since my request. Can my account be downgraded or closed please. Please note i will not be going to any FNB branch for this request again.
