Fixing up often leaves more lasting impressions

I was not impressed with ABSA's estate department. Twe months after my mom's death and after I have been appointed as the executor and almost finalised the estate when ABSA informed me that they have a Last Will and Testament in terms of which they were appointed as the executors. Had I been informed upfront when the death was reported and all the documents completed and handed in I could have saved myself a lot of trouble. I was even more annoyed because of the absolute silence from ABSA after the documents were handed - this was apparently teh reason foe the dealy but no-one bothered to tell me. After numerous unanswered e-mails finally got through to Nadine. Her professionalism and the way she handled this very angry customer is really a testimony to her as a person. She listened with empathy, responded immediately and is keeping me in the picture. Well done Nadine!! Piet Spreeuwenberg
