I called Outsurance to get a quotation for vehicle & household insurance to compare against my current insurance. After wasting 20min of my time the quote came to 3 times higher than my current policy & the excess was higher as well! I then said that according to your advertising I am entitled to a R400 payout if "we (Outsurance) cannot beat your current insurance premiums". The sales rep said that she cannot process the payout because I should have told her earlier on in the call that I was phoning for the "promotion"!
I've already had one bad experience with Outsurance in the past for a TP claim. Your client rear-ended me. You refused to pay me out to the value of the damages. I got 3 quotes as requested by you; the average of the quotes came to R12, 000.00. Outsurance only paid me out R5, 000.00. I will never recommend Outsurance to any family, friends & anyone for that matter. You are expensive, you have bad service & you do not honour your commitments.
