Service at Discovery insure is appalling, I must say when I was getting quotes to move I was quoted R600 less than Discovery, however at that stage I was happy to pay Discovery's premium as I thought I would receive top class service with no red tape. Last week I called to claim for my couch which had been accidentally broken by our cleaner. I called Discovery and the consultant advised me that someone would call me the same day to let me know what the next step is, after this they never returned any of my calls I had to keep chasing and when you request a manager call you back, don't hold your breath they don't care either! I am shocked with the service, after running around for a week getting quotes, taking pictures and wasting my phone bill the claim is rejected because I am not covered for this? We all know how the fine print is on these contracts, fair enough my fine tooth comb may have missed that detail, but why the 1 week wild goose chase looking for quotes, taking pics and not returning my calls. The staff are really rude. I would recommend you don't go near Discovery. I was with the AA and Outsurance before that and their customer care is far better, I will be moving!
