REJECTION OF CLAIM - UNACCEPTABLE REASON GIVEN

REJECTTION OF CLAIM SUBMITTED -
I received a phone call on 26/11/2013 from STD Bank Insurance informing me that my claim has been rejected due to the reason that the lapa poles were rotten. The lady advised me that the policy specifically state that the lapa must be maintained, otherwise a claim will be rejected when submitted. I responded by saying that I understood what the policy terms and conditions are but how is it possible for me to have noticed that the poles were rotten when they are planted beneath the ground and cemented? When we bought the house in 2008, the validator, sent by STD Bank, did not advise us of any defects to the lapa (because it is impossible to predict what the condition of the poles are beneath ground level). I will not accept my claim being rejected as my insurance is paid monthly without delays. When one takes out insurance you expect the company to assist with matters like these, part of the purchase agreement on a home loan is that one have insurance. My claim process has been delayed for unacceptable reasons. I have requested a second opinion without any success. I trust STD Bank will treat this as a matter of urgency and adhere. Thank you
