I am a female now forced to walk to work early mornings & late evenings in a dangerous area because I chose to insure with Brolink..
7 December 2012: Insured vehicle, Automatic Audi A3 2012 involved in a serious head-on collision with a truck.
11 December 2012: Claim logged with Yolande. She advised that I could only have an automatic courtesy vehicle for 25 days - and not the normal 30 days for a manual. "Automatics are more expensive and your policy doesn't cover them even though your insured car IS an automatic"
6 January 2013: Took the courtesy car 30 days later to maximize my time with the vehicle before I was settled.
8 January 2013: Yolande advised that the assessor report had been 'delayed' because of holidays. No extension can be done on the rental vehicle.
11 January 2013: Assessor report is finally received after hes back from holiday (Lesson: @Brolink - Dont smash in holiday time!)
30 January 2013: I had to give the rental vehicle back to AVIS
As at 31 January 2013: Brolink Total Turnaround Time:
1. From date of notification to submission of assessor report: 35 days
2. From date of loss to closure (so far): 55 days and still no settlement from Brolink!
