Loan Discovery SA have breached the following stipulations of the National Consumer Act.
1. Right to Disclosure of Information;
2. Right to Fair and Responsible Marketing;
3. Right to Fair and Honest Dealing;
4. Right to Fair, Just and Reasonable Terms and Conditions;
5. Right to Fair Value, Good Quality and Safety; and
6. Right to Accountability by Suppliers.
7. Suppliers must extend fixed-term agreements on a month-to-month basis, if the consumers
8. failed to request the cancellation of such agreements.
9. Suppliers are required to display the prices of goods and services, in full view of
10. consumers;
11. Suppliers are not permitted to mislead consumers in respect of pricing, the nature,
12. properties, advantages or uses of goods or services advertised, if such goods or services
13. are not actually available for purchase or procurement in accordance with these standards.
14. Suppliers are not permitted to, directly or indirectly, provide consumers with false,
15. misleading or deceptive representations regarding goods or services; and
16. Suppliers are required to provide consumers with prior written notice of clauses in
17. agreements that may constitute
