Poor service and lack of information

I am trying to put in a claim for an accident. I am battling to get information out from my insurer and at every step, I am given the run around. Then, they want to charge me double my excess amount for a document that they don't have but have never informed me that they don't have.

On my policy, it states that there is an additional amount that needs to be paid if this happens but at no point do they state that it is 100% of my excess fee.

Withstanding that, they promise to send through information but I am still waiting for three days. This after numerous requests to send it to me.

I will admit that I was irritated with them but it is understandable seeing the lack of assistance or service, that I get from them.

All I want, is the list of panel beaters the I need to see, so that I can finalize the claim.

This is not the first time that I battled with them.
