My daughter bought a new car and as she is not able to make calls during the day, I called and got a quote from 1st for Women. I received a quote for /- R800 and she decided to accept it. The policy was issued and after that we were told they made a mistake and it now goes up to /- R950. They then processed a debit on her account so that she will be covered immediately. Thereafter we were notified that her premium has now gone up to R1120 as they had the vehicle down as a 2012 model and it is in fact a 2013 model. The last straw was when she received an sms last night stating that her premium was not paid and it will affect her cover!! Seriously?? I am now busy getting other quotes and will cancel her policy as soon as I have all the information I need.
