Here are some SHOCKING practices by King Price that I have recently experienced and are missing from their contracts. I am a Professional Engineer and I always believe in learning from others mistakes where possible. Read the following and you may reconsider. Excuse short sentences. Limited text
1) Credit check on driver. If a judgment, no payment made. THIS IS INHERENTLY & ETHICALLY WRONG. THEY TAKE YOUR MONTHLY PREMIUMS. DO NOT PAY WHEN YOU MOST NEED IT
2) Fees from the storage yard are not covered. You have to pay before release. TRY &FIND THIS IN THEIR CONTRACTS?
3) When car is written off, they will add additional deduction for previous damage like chipped paint, etc. Who does not have this on their car after a while? Retail book value takes this into account. Therefore a double deduction. THIS IS HOW THEY CAN REDUCE THEIR MONTHLY PREMIUMS
4) If you arrange repairs at a fraction of cost when written off, they will force the lesser payment. THEY WANT TO CASH IN ON YOUR HARD WORK
5) Claims dept phones going unanswered. It is a nightmare to get answers. Never any feedback. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL YOU CLAIM. THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING WHEN YOU NEED TO GET ANSWERS
