Prestige banking - A complete waste of money

Just a public service announcement really, but do not be fooled into "upgrading" your account to Prestige at Standard Bank because all that will happen is you will pay higher fees and receive EXACTLY the same service as Blue and Gold customers (Elite).

Apparently you get access to a Prestige Banker, but mine has not responded to any emails or phone calls since opening my account, other than to send me generic junkmail. Apparently his job is to assist me with questions on products and services - This does not happen; I emailed him asking to set up a meeting 5 days ago and have not even received an acknowledgement of receipt of my email, when I try to call there is no answer. I have emailed the Prestige Center yesterday as well and apparently they will get back to me within 24 hours... let's see its now been 22 hours - I doubt I'll get any response.

This whole upgrading issue is a complete designed to trick people to believe they will get more service, when in fact they will be compelled to go to the branches just like the people paring R99 per month as opposed to R169.
