Declined loan amount paid into account

After enquiring about a loan, a quotation was send to me which I declined. Got telephonic conversation as well as email messages as proof. Same day money was paid into my account. I do not have the service to receive notifications from my bank on transactions. I don't want the money and did not sign any documents/contract. Now they are telling me that I've accepted on line which I most definitely did not do... is there someone else that this happened to? Any suggestion on how to sort this out? Thanks
