Cancellation of data rewards

I ported the Cell C simcard to Vodacom because the signal on the cell c card was terrible and i could never connect. I kept the original cell c number so I could still get the data rewards from FNB. But because I ported to a better network, FNB cancelled the free data they were rewarding me. When they gave me the sim card, they did not say you have to stay with cell c to qualify. 2ndly it's just a because they load free data that you are never able to use because it's with a network that doesn't work so when you do go to a decent network, they cancel it so they don't have to pay for data you use.
