I walked into Capitec Bank on Tuesday or Wednesday (I cannot recall exactly when) to apply for a personal loan. I was assisted by Theo (unfortunately). Theo needed to confirm employment, but she kept phoning the incorrect number! I understand she is not allowed to accept contact details from clients, but what am I supposed to do when I know for a fact she is not calling the correct company's number? She will obviously never be able to confirm employment! I have no idea where she even got the incorrect number from, but that's besides the point. I needed the money by yesterday (Thursday) at the latest! I called Capitec Bank again this morning, ranting and raving about them not being able to confirm employment because of Theo's incompetence! I was then assisted by Shengiwe who confirmed my employment within a matter of 5 minutes. She took the CORRECT landline number from me and what do you know? Employment was confirmed just like that! WAS IT THAT DIFFICULT TO DO??? Big thanks to Shengiwe. I will now be able to sign the documents this afternoon and the money will hopefully be available in my account before the end of the day.
