I would suggest that if you are looking for assistance to rather go to another institution.

While I must admit that two of their consultants have gone out of their way to assist me, the bank itself has done everything to make it impossible for me.

I do have a 13 month loan. I was advised, as you will be, that after paying for 3 months I could apply again, which I did, then I was told to wait until I had paid for six months. I have paid for seven months and they are still saying the same thing. This will happen to you as well. I am in a position and explained it to them. Instead of actually looking at it logically they sent through a normal generic response.

My job is stable, I am not going to be earning less. I am asking for my term to be extended on the same amt I pay and they keep giving excuses and not actually assisting.

No, I do not have two days to wait around for an answer that will pretty much be we don't know, but we won't help you.

Capitec is disappointing in terms of client retention and business sense. I do suggest looking for another bank before looking at Capitec.
