Arrogant response following harrasment

My debit order for a personal loan is due each month on the 1st.

So at 10.30 AM on the 1st of NOVEMBER I get a phone call from my bank indicating that I had not paid. I was totally astonished.

My transfer from Standard bank having been affected the day before had obviously not yet been cleared, but from experience I know it wont be a problem, as it normally clears shortly after 4pm or so.

My question: Why call me (on1 NOVEMBER) to complain about non payment if my due date is 1 NOVEMBER? if the day is not even over yet?

I am not in arrears if its still the 1st of NOVEMBER! That is harassment and MUST be illegal in terms of the Debt Collections Act! So instead of reporting them to the Board, I write a polite email expressing my frustration and the response received back from Andisiwe is even worse. Indicating that my money should be in my account.

How I move my funds between my accounts is none of the bank's concern, only that I pay them on the due date and since the due date had NOT COME AND GONE! why harass me and then be about it?

I expect a public apology from this employee! I disagree with your slogan "committed to service"! This is not service!
