MiWay
LACK OF RELEVANT INFORMATION

My husband had a motorbike accident and we contacted Miway, Miway were told the bike value was R32000, we were told we could insure for the retail, the lady failed to inform us that the retail was only R22000. According to Mr Grobler, that is my problem and I should have checked we also informed her that he was on a learners and was intending to do his full licence, excesses were mentioned but again she failed to disclose that on a Learners there is an extra R5000, according to Mr Grobler. I should have read the 29 pgs they sent me. I contacted Mr Grobler and complained and told him I would go to hello peter and Ombudsman and was warned to be very careful what I say otherwise he would take a civil action against me. Miway have paid me R13 946 to cover a R32000 bike (which is written off), a helmet and a top box. during this process I also found out that I am paying premiums for cars which are now a lower value since I insured, why isn't my premium? Dennis O'neale said it is up to the client to contact them annually and get their premiums reduced, . Just to let Mr Grobler know, Brian is recovering well, only you failed to ask as you were too busy telling me what you wouldn't pay.
