Misleading the consumers

In March I received one of those call centre guys (Dhesan Govender) to offer me a Power Up Plan that covers brake pads and wipers.

I was informed that the call was recorded as the salesman advised me that the brake pads will be replaced whenever they are worn out. It is now 22000km after the last set of brake pads was fitted and only to be informed that 22000km is not normal wear and tear as per their discretion. Now that I was put from pillar to post for 50minutes on the phone I was told that the original voice recording will take 5-7 days to be retrieved. This company is quick to debit your account but as soon as it come to claims they are quick to reject them.

How can they justify that the 22000km done on the last set of brake pads was not worn out as a direct result of normal wear and tear. We stay in gauteng and we experience peak hour traffic on a daily basis and surely people residing at coastal areas should be evaluated differently compared to Gauteng.

I am disgusted with this policy that was sold to me.
