I had an investment account for my son last year which i relinquished this year. the bank then credited me twice into my account. when I went to the bank wanted to deal with the matter earlier this year, i was told that i should not pay the R600 that i owed. on the 16/09/2013 i received an sms from Nedlife group stating that my account has been handed over to Legal Recoveries because they've tried being in contact with me for months. which is untrue, for no one had contacted me till it was moved to Recoveries. i made an arranged to pay R50 a month on the 10th October, starting from the end of the month. now, i just received an sms with capital letters stating 'YOU HAVE NEVER MADE ANY PAYMENTS ON your Nedgroup Life to date'. ' TO AVOID LEGAL COST, YOUR PAYMENT IS DUE FOR OCTOBER' with the reference number NGR0182. its not my mistake that the bank credited me twice and now im rectifying that but instead of patience, i have to deal with such sms, that ruin my day. let me pay and if i don't send me these sms'. I cant deal with Nedbank anymore. if its not that Ghandi Square branch making us sit for 2 hours with no acknowledgement, its this. ive had enough.
