Unfair Dismisal of Claim

On 25Sept. 2013 my Samsung Galaxy Tablet was from the boot of my car. The culprits where inside the garage when I arrived home so when I locked my car they used a jamming device to interfere with the signal so the car wouldn't lock. I opened a case of to Motor Vehicle with the police who took finger prints on my car and I reported the matter to insurance to claim for the tablet. On reporting it to the insurer, 3 weeks later an employee (George Thapedi) of Guardrisk, a division of Alexander Forbes shouted at me on the phone told me that they can't process my claim because there needs to be evidence of forced entry to the car. He later reverted back to me with the email saying that in incidences where signal jamming devices are used it is negligence of the client. However, to prove that there was a break in fingerprints were taken and I consciously locked my car. I'm upset that I have been paying insurance on this device for more than a year and now my money is going down the drain. Moreover, it is unjust that they consider to motor vehicle as null and void whereas if I had just lost the device or it was in the street they would compensate me for my loss.
