My Partner passed away 6 years ago. I was beneficiary for retirement annuity. Old mutual has requested lots of document which i sent to them several times. They kept quite for almost two years and request the same documents that i have forwarded with complete information. When I asked if they had all the necessary information they confirmed that everything is in order. But till to date i have never received any money regardless several calls that I have made to them. What is the use of taking insurance if they cannot pay out the money especially when the beneficiary is written black and white in the contract. I feel sorry for people who are still taking insurances thinking that they will assist in a long run. It is really frustrating to deal with incompetent who people who does not even know what you are going through.. Its been six years and no payment was made in my bank account.
