Password resetting

So i went to Capitec today to go and get my username and password as i had forgotten what it was.
The lady helped me and gave me a new card etc. so then she gave me my username and said, "login and use your current cards normal password and then they will make you create a new password."
All went well until they asked me for my OLD password. I DONT KNOW MY OLD PASSWORD... thats why i went to the bank. All i want to do is just transfer some money and now it is made so difficult. i already had to squeeze in some time today to get to the bank. PLEASE just let me login in so i can change my password. or will i HAVE to go to the bank?
