I had a credit card with African Bank. Account was settled in March 2013 and now I'm getting calls from them stating that I owe them for insurance an this account that has been settled. I was told yesterday that I had to WRITE them a letter requesting them to close the account and cancel the INSURANCE on this account, however I was never INFORMED about this. I just had another call from them about this R516.00 rand that I supposedly owe them I TOLD them that they must deduct the money from the PERSON that gave me the settlement figure as they DID NOT DO THEIR JOB. I ill not pay this amount as far as I'm concerned the account was settled. I also told them that I dont want to be contacted by a credit controller but a Manager.
