I Chris vd Berg have an account with Furniture City, and when I opened the account I was forced to take out insurance by African Bank should I not be able to pay my account anymore.
The amount I am paying is nearlt fourhundred rands a month for total absolute nothing which are a by African Bank insurance to generate more money.
When I lost my job in Feb this year, and I asked African Bank staff, if I could claim because I am unemployed, the staff at Fourways crossing advised me not to claim because they said that the insurance will not pay out they make it so difficult for the clients so that the cliets rather just leave it, .Yet they force u to take out the insurance, when u open the account
I went to a different store and I was also advised not to claim so consumers BE AWARE THIS IS ALL A AND A MONEY MAKEING BUSINESS AFRICAN BANK INSURANCE, pls stay away from this insurance
