In the beginning of September, we submitted documents for our money to be paid out. On the 1st of October I was told by my Financial advisor that one of the pages was not signed. I resubmitted the documents the same day. On the 3rd of October Sanlam responded with the email "that the estimated time of completion will be 17 October 2013". My financial advisor followed up on this on the 14 October 2013, and no reply was given to him. I spoke to my Financial advisor on the 18/10/2013, he told me that every time he called into the call centre of Sanlam they say it will take up to 15 working days for them to resolve the issue. I spoke to Robert yesterday at Sanlam, and he told me that they only received the documents on the 16th of October and he can't give me a date on which my money will be paid out. If the documents was only received on the 16th of October, why did we receive an email stating: "that the estimated time of completion will be 17 October 2013" This is very bad service. Robert didn't even have compassion for an unhappy customer, he didn't even try to resolve the matter.
