I've been with absa insurance for 2 years since I've bought my house. I've never defaulted on my payments. My ceiling fell recently and an assessor was sent out. I feel the assessor only looked for faults. They rejected my claim saying faulty construction.how can they expect me to check under the ceiling boards to see how ceiling boards were put up? That's what the lady at call center told me that when I bought the house I should've checked. Did absa insurance check when they insured my house and when they bill me do they check? I feel ull are looking for excuses not to pay
out because as I quote one of ur call center agents" we've got a lot of rain and wind damage claims at the moment". So as I see it any excuse to save themselves from paying out to loyal hardworking clients who don't insurance companies.
Utterly disgusted with your company.
