Good- evening, I have a current Bond Account with First National Bank which is in the name of myself and my wife, it has been in existence for approx 10 years, and can state that the amount owing to the Bank is less negligible. I would further like to state that I have never missed an installment.
I recently went back to FNB to enquire about another loan as I wished to purchase another property, I was told to be considered that I would need to conduct a transactional account with them and only after 3 months of existence would I be considered.
I find this outrageous as I was considering FNB and was giving them a chance for my business but if that's their attitude...
I have since that taken out another bond with one of my other bankers and put it to their loss, how do you attract new business if you are not prepared to consider non FNB account holders, I would have considered moving my current account of 25 years to FNB but after this response ..
