On Monday 7th October our house was damaged during a severe storm passing over Pretoria. Some of the roof tiles were blown off and the rain caused damage inside the house as well. We logged the claim on Monday evening and a contractor came on Wednesday and assessed the damage in order to quote. The quote was submitted to ABSA's claim department. Every time we contacted them they have some sort of excuse why the claim has not been approved.
The manager responsible for this urgent claim is conducting interviews today and do not have the time to approve it!!
We are expecting rain in the next few days - what then ABSA? Are you going to repair the additional damages caused by your negligence?
