Credit card, dont keep to arrangements

I was out of work for 4 months and notified absa numerous times they kept calling me after making so many arrangements and I arranged that september i will make sure card is not in arrears anymore. Again they just kept calling and every time my arrangement was noted. They kept promising that when its up to date all will be fine. I kept my promise and paid it out of its arrears end September. My cards expired in the mean time now absa after promising they wont cancel my card refuses to re issue a new card after it expired. They just blame the system my card is up to date I have credit available i can pay it monthly even more but they refuse to assist clients when they are in need absolutely no assistance is given. Why should you stay with a bank that wont understand clients needs. I use my card for car rental when needed and emergencies when times is tough but no absa blames everything on a system. I would like my credit card back if i dont pay ot they can cancel it. But they should support their clients
