A week after reporting a leaking pipe, Std Bank Insurance have done nothing but pass me around to incompetent, lying suppliers. Initially the plumber came and reported to me that the leak was not covered by my insurance as it was waste pipe. I got in an independent plumber who confirmed this was a lie. I then gave them another chance to correct this. The same plumber came and now agrees it is a leak but they will give me a cash payout. When I phone Std Bank Insurance call centre, they claim to not have the report and cannot do anything until they have it. Meantime, the damages to the house are getting worse.
